Where to Find a Goldendoodle Puppy

May 21, 2018

Now that you’ve done your research, had a healthy exchange of information through online forums and social media, and consulted with family members and friends, you’re raring to get a Goldendoodle puppy. But where do you get one? You can begin the process of adopting by filling out the form from any of the several breeders online. For your convenience, we have compiled a list of reputable breeders and kennels below:

How the adoption process works?

The procedure for adopting a Goldendoodle will vary from one breeder to another. However, it usually begins with you filling out a form. If possible, before completing the online form, make a personal visit to the breeder’s home or kennel. If the breeder is too far away to visit, talk to them on the phone, ask plenty of questions, and ask for references from previous clients.

Once you’re happy with your initial meeting with the breeder, complete the online form. The information is used mainly to assist the breeder to determine the right pup for your home. After completing the form, you will then to be asked to make a non-refundable deposit along with your application.

Depending on the availability of the puppy, the adoption process may take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months during which time there will be plenty of communication between you and the breeder. Once you get a notification that your puppy is ready for pick up, you can either pick up your pet in person, which is always encouraged, or arrange for it to be delivered to your home.

What if you want a Goldendoodle from another country?

With Goldendoodles being relatively new, there’s a big chance one won’t be available in your country. What do you do? Don’t fret, believe it or not you can have your pet shipped internationally.

One method is to create a listing on uShip.com so you can gather quotes from different transporters or brokers who are capable of transporting your pet. This will give you the opportunity to review these transporters before entrusting your pet to them. International pet shipping companies know the international laws and regulations for animal transport, can help you file the appropriate papers, and keep your pet safe during travel.

Another method that takes care of most of the legwork is employing the services of PetRelocation. PetRelocation is a company that specialises in handling safe pet travel logistics around the world. You can visit their website at https://www.petrelocation.com/.

Love teacups…I am a first time owner. Thinking mix of maltese and shitzu…but not sure what to look for to make sure it is in good health. A breeder contacted me and had what I am looking for…but she said it was the runt…and will be tiny.

Your website impressed me…please contact me. How much too…curious on price.
